For funders and commissioners
I work with people who have been counted out, and with the organisations that teach, employ and support them. If you fund or commission work in justice, education or employment, this page sets out what I do, what it shows and how we could work together.
What funding makes possible
Beyond the Labels workshops
A half-day session for schools, child-facing teams and employers on behaviour as communication, and on asking a question before accepting a label.
Cost is agreed with each client. Typical group size: around 20 people.
Keynote and team training
A keynote for conferences on lived experience and justice reform, and practical sessions for managers on supporting people into and through their first month in work.
Programmes through Anabranch Plus
Employment and self-employment programmes for people in custody and in the community, including Working For Yourself, delivered with the Association of Business Mentors and the British Library Business and IP Centre.
See Anabranch Plus →I work closely with the Ministry of Justice, HMPPS, the NHS, and public and private sector organisations.
"Omar has a natural ability to bring diversity of thought to the table, ensuring that ideas are explored from multiple perspectives and creating richer, more impactful outcomes. … It's rare to find someone who blends creativity, critical thinking, and dedication so seamlessly."
"Omar is a very rare asset. He is totally authentic, enthusiastic and driven. His life experiences have shaped him but don't define his future. He is inspiring and hardworking; has a strong social conscience but with a commercial understanding. … We all need more Omars in our organisations and life."
